Between rapping, producing, cultivating events, running administrative services, Pat 2 Dope has demonstrated a keen eye to creative content and visual prowess. Pat is now applying his skills into one masterpiece, his latest single, “On The Bayou”.
“I wrote Bayou due to a the ripples of a break up that was…messy. There’s no animosity but during the healing process I would see this person walking around the city I brought them to. Haunted.
In my mind the bayou represents a place of growth and danger. Beauty everywhere you look but danger lurking in still water.
I shot the video at one of my favorite locations in Ypsilanti right near the community college. I would go there just to meditate, smoke, and find a moment of peace. It’s and odd location hidden in the middle of the city.”
