Ola Ali started directing his energy and time to throw football parties for the team. Each weekend he kept the football stadium throbbing with an abundance of guests. He was able to take the character he learned through football and channeled his energy toward hosting celebrations. Ola began watching and recording notes to improve his technique. Ola began to adjust to the demands of the public and the events began to become iconic. Soon after, Ola Ali’s name was spreading all over campus for the incredible events he hosted. The majority of his events drew up to 2,000+ guests.
After graduating, Ola Ali returned home to Chicago, Illinois. He founded his own company for events with the goal of reorganizing Chicago’s nightlife. He entered the club scene and immediately made a significant impact on the business. Ola Ali was able to develop an ability to understand the people around him, and what drives them. His performances opened up opportunities that he thought of. He established a broad network, with a majority of the biggest musicians within the national and local music industry.
Through chance, Ola Ali met and established a friendship with Lil Durk’s rising star older brother. The two quickly became close and led to him being exposed to the local rap icon. Lil Durk felt Ola Ali’s enthusiasm and decided to join as his manager of music. Another time, he pivoted his career and poured everything to growing the Lil Durk brand and name.
Today, Ola Ali is the general manager of Lil Durk’s label OTF which stands for ‘Only the Family’. Ola Ali has contributed to the growth of OTF into the global fame it currently enjoys. He is focused on bringing significant growth to OTF through significant business deals and allegations. Ola Ali’s primary goal is to transform OTF into the center of Chicago music.
