Update: After popping up last week, the YankeeKicks team has treated us to an on-foot breakdown of the Air Jordan 3 “Fear.” With one-third of the pack revealed to be returning, we await news of the possible return of the AJ4 and AJ5 iterations. Release remains expected for November 25 at a price of $200 USD.
Original Story: Throughout this century, Jordan Brand has kept its eyes fixed on not only the future, but the past and present as well. Innovation remains crucial to the division, leading to new silhouettes such as the recently announced Air Jordan 38. However, it also remains focused on celebrating its heritage. In January, rumors of the “Fear” colorway of the Air Jordan 3 returning to the market hit the net. Now, ten years after its debut, a first look at the remake has popped up.
As expected, this faithful reproduction of the pair sees various grays spread throughout the upper with “Total Orange” accents sprinkled in. Elephant print touches down at the toe and heel while leather and suede go back and forth at the upper. Black detailing joins in at the collar, eyestay, laces and sole unit while the aforementioned orange dresses several eyelets and the Jumpman logos found at the tongue and heel.
While Nike has yet to disclose any details regarding the long-awaited return of the Air Jordan 3 “Fear,” rumors are pointing towards a release date of November 25. Look for it to land on shelves via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $200 USD in a complete family size range.
