Nas Everything Video
Following “Cops Shot the Kid” and “Adam and Eve” earlier this week, the hip-hop icon presents the video for “everything,” his collaboration with Kanye West and The-Dream.
The heartbreaking 7-minute film explores the bond between a young man and his grandmother. During a trip to the bodega, he gets into a confrontation with the shop owner, who accuses him and his friends of stealing.
The police are called and the young man ends up dead. Nas, who dons a dashiki, narrates the powerful story. “Remember where you come from. It will keep you safe,” says the man’s grandmother.
The “everything” video was taken from Nas’ 16-minute short film Nasir, which debuted in November.
