Mustard put a ring on it.
The super-producer got down on one knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, Chanel Thierry, with an 8-carat diamond ring with 10 carats on the band.
New York-based jeweler Eliantte custom designed the stunning engagement ring, which cost half-a-million dollars, according to Mustard.
The heartwarming proposal, which was captured on social media, went down in front of family and friends including Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods on Saturday (Oct. 27). “She said yes … 8 years since we had kiy … so I got 8 carats for each year and that’s just the center stone the rings a total of 18 carats,” said the “Boo’d Up” hitmaker.
His wife-to-be shared the story of how they met at the age of 16 and remained friends before pursuing a romantic relationship. “Our kids reaction, our family and friends… I couldn’t have dreamed of a better moment,” said Chanel. “I love you.
Thank you for always being a man of your word! We aren’t perfect by any means, some days we can’t stand each other but the love has NEVER left, 8 years I’m still in love, still will hop out of a trunk on that ass if u think about not talking to me.”
The couple has two children together, Kauner and Kylan.
