Twenty-seven-year-old talented artist Lily Jay began her music career back in 2017 when she was just twenty-three years old. Her first single ‘Renovate’ was a collaborative attempt with X factor Australia winner XY LATU and it garnered immense appreciation from the audience. However, Lily Jay decided to halt her music career for the time being and take a break. After five years, she has returned to continue in her journey of becoming a musician, and this time no one can stop her!
Originally hailing from Queensland, Australia, Lily Jay is not new to the world of music. Her passion stems from the days of her early childhood when she would sing in the Sunday mass regularly. As someone who was raised in a devoted catholic family, her interest in music further grew from thereon. In fact, she even received a scholarship from one of the best performing arts schools in her country during her teenage years. It was here that she pursued a diploma in musical theatre. Her fondness for music also gave way to her love for dance.
The young prodigy has now returned to the center stage to once again mesmerize the audience with her beautiful vocals. Her new single ‘89 Cadillac’ is releasing on 1st September this year and will be followed up with an entire album by the end of the year! It is a fine blend of pop and dance. On being asked what advice she would like to give to aspiring musicians, Lily Jay replied that one must always follow their dreams no matter how many people think otherwise. Obstacles are bound to be present but one can overcome them if one truly desires so.
