Miss Storm is a natural talent who has been involved with music her entire life. She began her musical journey in Ohio as a gospel artist. Then slowly transitioned into a secular hip-hop soul artist and songwriter. When creating music Miss Storm draws inspiration from everything and everyone in her life.

She also gets inspiration from artists such as James Brown, Prince, Lauryn Hill, Tweet, Janelle Monae, Kurt Cobain, Madonna, Pimp C, Cyhi The Prynce, and Pusha T. She has experienced outstanding accomplishments in her career. Including learning from some of the most brilliant minds in the industry. She has contributed to songs and soundtracks that will touch lives long after she is gone. For that, she is incredibly proud. She has also won multiple awards for writing and art. Miss Storm’s most significant personal achievement has been her nomination for Best Short Film for her film on mental health titled “Gunz N Roses.”

Miss Storm likes to be hands-on in the creating process of her music and wants to customize things that will compliment her sound. She enjoys collaborating with different talented musicians and producers, but her main product is April “A Dee” Dillard. They have been creating together for almost 15 years and have created songs in various genres.

Miss Storm has an album set for a release titled “Black Dreams” and a new summer single titled “Where You Wanna Be.” “Where You Wanna Be” is a fun and high-energy hip-hop soul record that takes you back to a time of BBQs and family reunions. It represents a time to celebrate life and get back to enjoying time with family and friends.
