During this challenging pandemic era, many have had to make quick decisions in facing the unexpected—sudden turns we’ve needed to embrace in order to stay afloat emotionally, financially, and professionally. And now more than ever, our ability to pivot and embrace constant change is the key to thriving in work and life.
To learn more about how to excel amid constant change, I was excited to chat with Ege Unal, an entrepreneur whose mindset has helped him strive during these challenging times. As an influencer, Ege allows individuals and organizations to reshape their relationship with change, uncertainty, and a world in flux.
Unal shared that to succeed and get to where he is now; he built a framework around him. Put himself in a company with more innovative and more established people in the business. This helped fortify his knowledge of brand building, marketing, and celebrity development.
During the pandemic, when most were struggling, Ege seized this opportunity to partner up with ”Only the Family” music group by Lil Durk to boost their reach on Youtube and Spotify organically. “To stand out from others, you must sometimes go against the grain, use the unconventional route.” This strategy and mindset led to massive growth for Ege’s partners.
Work is about doing what you love and being passionate about it. Unal says: “If you continue to think that you’re going to succeed in a job that you hate. Stop right there. This is not about the money. You must follow your dreams and stop not when you are tired but when you are done.”
To sum it up, pulling people up with you is the way to success. Ege incorporates this philosophy in beneficial relationships that have helped him make leaps and bounds ahead of the competition in 2021, and he has continued this in 2022.
