San Juan, PR (August 26, 2024) – Acclaimed Puerto Rican urban singer Miky Woodz combines his love for music with his passion for sports in the release of the song “Big Moves.” In this “freestyle” the artist pays tribute to basketball legend Kobe Bryant, in tune with “Kobe Bryant Day,” celebrated this past August 24.

“Big Moves” once again reflects Miky Woodz’s unmistakable sound and his authenticity in crafting narratives. The song is born from the artist’s admiration for Kobe Bryant, considered one of the best basketball players in history, who passed away on January 26, 2020.

The lyrics establish the rapper’s full confidence to bet on his ability to impress on any stage and to prevail with his talent, an attitude similar to that reflected by the famous player, who became one of the stars of the NBA.

Bájale veinte peliculero / Que cuando te pillemos / No hay break pa’ que pongas peros”, he narrates in part of his lyrics, which stand out for deep and honest thoughts.

I released this special song for my people. I always admired Kobe Bryant a lot. He had some rules that talked about being ambitious, improving every day, learning from the greats. I always felt identified.” said Miky Woodz.

Big Moves” is now available on the main digital music platforms.

In addition to his focus on leaving a legacy in music, the rapper has always expressed his love for sports, mainly basketball, one of the disciplines in which he excelled in his school grades. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various initiatives in students to promote their development in basketball.

The Carolina singer continues to work on strengthening his musical career in the urban scene. In May of this year he released his EP “Built Different,” with six songs that show the essence that has distinguished him within the trap and reggaeton scene.

His discography includes the albums “El OG” (2018), “Los 90 Piketes” (2020), “Before Famous” (2017), “Cambio de Clima (with Bryant Myers, 2019), “El OG Week (2019),” Living Life “(2021) and OG City (2023). His extensive catalog includes collaborations with internationally renowned figures such as Arcángel, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Wisin, Jowell & Randy, Ozuna, Manuel Turizo, Chencho Corleone, El Alfa, Tainy, Jhayco and others.
