My name Is Keshawn Spencer I was born January 31, 1998 In Virginia Beach, Virginia and raised In Charlotte, North Carolina where I got tied in the streets for the first time. My father was In the military and retired In Killeen, Texas where I finished off my other half of my Jr year and my Senior year of high school at. I met my bestfriend here In Killeen who goes by Marquis Demps (IG: @Benji3quis) who sadly died to gun violence In Killeen Dec 3, 2018.. He was one of the top rappers coming up out of Central Texas with shoutouts from artist like Waka Flocka Flame, The Game, Quin Nfn & even @SaycheeseTV one of the biggest blogs out & more.
During my Senior year of high school I caught my first charge which was a class B misdemeanor “possession of marijuana”. I went to jail and bonded out the next day. I skipped school alot or never came back to school after lunch and I fell so far behind I was about to get kicked out and have to repeat the 12th grade, but I got it together and caught back up. I was never dumb I just didn’t enjoy school and felt like it was nothing else school could teach me but I still ended up graduating high school In 2016 3 month’s early at Pathways Academic Campus.
I went to Central Texas College In 2017 for about 7-8 months, a few months after I graduated High School. I started rapping at 12 years old but never wrote my first song until I was 16. I recorded my first song at 18 when I started to truly have a passion for music. After trashing so many singles I finally found my sound and dropped my first solo song “Bit*h Pt. 1”. That song did almost 8K views In 1 week on SoundCloud and started to get shared all over the place and that was the true start of my music career. By that time I was back In the streets and really tied In this time. At 19 years old I got locked up In Austin Texas and bonded out after being on a hold for a few days for unlawful carrying of a weapon & possession of marijuana again. After a year of going to court the charges we’re dropped.
At 21 years old I dropped my first Mixtape (Quis Mode) In memory of my bestfriend Marquis. I also started getting addicted to pill again bad and this time they were opiods. Soon after releasing my tape I got jammed up again after being Involved In a car accident for having a warrant out for my arrest due to the charge being so old and petty I was released the next day and given a fine. My music career was on and off after the age of 21 because of the distractions I had In the streets. By the age of 22, my mother had been shot multiple times In Killeen TX, being at the wrong place at the wrong time at a gas station. I was In Tyler Texas, at the time (3 hours away from Killeen) and when I seen the article I blacked out and started speeding home and got pulled over In Trinidad Texas, and did 4 months In Jail In Athens Texas and was released on a PR Bond. I caught my first 2 felony charges for Possession of Controlled Substance (2x), another Unlawful Carrying of A Weapon and Possession of Marijuana.
My first and only offer the DEA gave me was 10 years In prison, but right before taking it to trial I was released on 8 years probation. Soon after my release I dropped a (MoneyBagg Yo “Go” Remix – First Day Out) released on Youtube. Soon after I dropped my second Mixtape/Album (Quis Mode 2) In memory of my bestfriend again and to keeping his name alive, which featured one of his unreleased singles “Turn They Back”. I dropped that album and been dropping every since! Im now back, serious as ever, here for good, and here to blow!
