Meet Rising North Carolina Rapper Yung Rydah

As the new age of musicians are becoming their own, Meet Yung Rydah, an upcoming artist from Rockingham, NC. He was born April 22nd, 1994. He was raised in Wichita Falls, TX where he would begin his journey into the music scene. He grew up listening to artists like the late great DMX and the Ruff Ryders as a child, which is where he got his name from.

In 2012 him and his best friend Ra$haad Montana started a label together called More Than Music 4everLivin Music Group or MTM4LMG for short. Gaining popularity over the years they built their army of artists and continued to drop music consistently. In 2015 Yung Rydah released his first single “No Chill” which gained a big buzz in Wichita Falls.

2016 he released another single “Getchu Some Money” which was an even bigger success that would lead him to be the #1 local song on the radio station Hot 103.9 that year. That same given year he released his highly anticipated “Purple Lines n Dollar Signs” mixtape on his mother’s birthday, which gave him more reason to be labeled as one of the best to come up out of the North Texas district.

In 2018, he went through a crisis after losing his mother in March & put his career on hold. He ended up dropping “M.O.N.E.Y. II: They Still Envy Me”. 2019 he moved back to North Carolina & dropped his first EP “Can’t Count Me Out” which did great numbers on streaming sites. 2020, he dropped his new hit single ‘Or Whatever” which has been a huge success along with the release of his “Legend In The Making” project.

This year Yung Rydah has released his newest project “Ambitions Of a Rydah”, which is probably one of his best projects to date. His music receives several streams and Yung Rydah is working towards elevating and capitalizing off his productivity. It’s time for Rydah to shake the room!
