Next out the West is IAMJYOUNGIN who is sure to keep his name surfacing amongst the chatter. The Long Beach, Cali native says, ” They keep saying I found my sound & for me to keep gassin’. I intend on doing just that while pushing my brand to gain more exposure and reinventing myself every 90 days. We had a chance to sit down with IamJYoungin for some Q & A.
What’s one piece of advice that you were given that you find valuable?
My homey Big Boo told me to make sure I always rebrand, restructure, and see what worked and what didn’t every 90 days. Like a quarterly report, we have to make sure we’re connecting with the public on some level to generate growth.
Is there anyone that you want to shout out who has helped you along the way?
Shout out to DTrane for helping me kick off the year by landing “ANYWAYZ” on radio and a few months later the big bro PROBLEM blessed me with the remix spins went crazy and it was a dope experience networking and promoting heavily in Las Vegas Nevada with DJ G Minor, DJ D Money, Spindizzy, DJ A Ron, The whole Hot 97.5 Team, Club DJ’S like DJ R Skee, DJ Chloe, Big Jon, The Zu Reviews Show with Big Boo, Will, Bmac and Digital Billboards from ToTo Ent and more. Spins also went crazy at The Blaze in Texas, Wisconsin 93.1 Jamz (DJ Fusion), Frisco (DJ Renrock), Sandy Dangerzone, Oregon (DJ OG ONE), and a few spots and clubs in Oakland plus the hometown Los Angeles area politicking with DJ Bangloose, DJ Mark Da Spot, DJ B Eazy, DJ Demo, DJ Kwess, DJ Dre & Big Crash From Trap LA and so many more influential individuals that sincerely rock with me. Too many to name, but just know we went crazy and I appreciate all the on-the-spot performances, and youth events I was asked to come to speak at on behalf of my foundation. Thank you to my whole team and all the supporters that see me in traffic and ask if I’m “YOUNGIN”, also the ones that hit me in the DM with dope encouragement. That means a lot to artists in general and I take nothing for granted. I really appreciate you all.

What keeps you going?
I just keep my foot on the gas and stay consistent giving the streets and my supporters what they’ve been asking from me… more music and more visuals. I’m working y’all. I’m in my zone and I can’t wait for you all to hear my next body of work… it’s craaaaaazy.
What are you currently working on?
Like I said earlier, everybody keeps saying I found my sound… So, let’s get it and just know, behind the scenes I’m working on bigger plays, searching for major partnerships and investors for my own Youth Center with state-of-the-art recording programs, various skills & Trades taught by accredited instructors such as paint & drywall, framing, plumbing, silk screen, film/photography and more. Music is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s Go Time…
