Meet Hashous Clay, Detroit’s Voice For Bike Life

Hailing from Hollywood, CA, and flowering through on the West side of Detroit, rapper Hashous Clay is a born survivor that has stood sturdily through his lasting music career.

Since the beginning of his career, Clay harnessed his skill by performing and battling throughout the city. He was never afraid to face off with anyone that stood in his way. His talent gained the attention of the late Big Proof which led to a deal from “Iron Fist Records” before Big Proof’s Untimely demise.

A couple of months later, the gifted Hashous Clay moved to Arizona where he formed the battle rap crew “4th Quarter” alongside rappers; Kg the poet, T 2good & Rum Nitty.

Back in 2012, New York rapper, Cappadonna caught wind of Hashous Clay at a studio in Phoenix. This ultimately led to two features on the 2015 Cappadonna album titled “The Pillage 2”. Just before the album dropped, Hashous Clay suffered a massive heart attack in 2013 and cardiac arrest coding 10 times exactly a year later.

At the same fateful time, the prodigy had a stroke that severely damaged the right side of his brain and changed his life forever. Miraculously, through riding a bicycle, Hashous Clay has taught himself how to write and perform again. His ingenuity has been resurrected through his adept rap skills and he is back in 2022 with force through his latest album “Fonkin up traffic”.
