MacMalone: Melodic Tone + Southern Accent

Small town, big goals

MacMalone is a versatile artist who uses a melodic tone with a southern accent to create his music. From Church Point, Louisiana, MacMalone grew up in a small town with a population of 4,000 people.

His love for music came when he was very young. MacMalone would tag along with his mom while she attended classes at Grambling State University, her and her friends would listen to hip hop music. When MacMalone heard “Juicy” by The Notorious B.I.G for the first time it stuck with him – the sound, the lyrics, the melodic flow, everything about it. That’s when he promised himself that one day he would create something that was as catchy and had the same kind of vibe.

MacMalone has big goals; to create high quality music with meaning, be a Grammy nominated artist, top the charts, and to go platinum a few times. MacMalone said “I know it’s a huge goal, but I think I’m very capable of doing it”.

MacMalone has had the chance to work with major artists such as Yung Bleu and Rylo Rodriguez. He has also attended a big label meeting and got the chance to perform at a few big shows – SXSW and A3C festival to name a few.

“To be honest, I just want my listeners to be able to relate to the real life situations that I talk about and have been through. The good and the bad, I’m not out here trying to paint a pretty picture, I want you to feel what I’m saying” said MacMalone.

MacMalone released a project at the end of last year titled “Mandatory 3”. He currently has some singles in the works along with a five song joint EP with D-Weezy titled “STARTING 5”. “Malone”, a stand alone mixtape, will be dropping in September.

Stay tuned, MacMalone has a lot on the way. Follow him on INSTAGRAM and APPLE MUSIC.
