Lil Rottie Drops Video to 'Destiny'

On November 30, 2021, the Nevada-based rapper Lil Rottie gave his listeners a lyrical story of what it’s been like walking on the road to greatness in the new single, which is available on all streaming platforms. Now, he’s showing us how it really “feels” for him to be taking this journey as he pursues his career as a global star.

The decision was easy to make but the hustle has been the toughest. “I was tired of working for another person and clocking in to a 9-5 to make minimum wage. One day while I was drenching in sweat from walking all day for work, I came to my senses that I couldn’t do it anymore. It was at the moment where I had to realize my worth and prepare for what my next journey would be. November 2020 was the last month I worked. After that, I went and chased my dreams. I’m still not where I want to be but I’m on the way. It took a lot of blood sweat and tears to get where I am today.”

In the video, available now in YouTube, he gives his fans a visual representation of what it was for him to start from nothing in a new city, to finally making a name for himself. “The video starts off with me being lost in a desert wearing a shirt symbolizing a chapter to my story. The viewers are watching it come to life. The shirt reads “Destiny”, abbreviated version for that which I seek on the road, in the desert, and in my music.”

He states he moved to the city to get closer to his dream of becoming a hip-hop artist. “I moved to Las Vegas to build an image for myself. Living here has given me the opportunity to connect with different people, as well as be closer to my record label, which also has the best studio on the west coast being built.” And in the video, you can see how he transforms himself to now riding in Lambos through the city of Las Vegas.

His personal story is told through the track itself and now with the video, he can share with his viewers how his journey of trials and tribulations felt as though he’d been lost in a desert. He expressed that his main goal is to be an impact to those who are out there chasing their dreams. “The impact I am looking to make with my music is to have music that people can resonate to.”

The grind won’t stop here for Lil Rottie. He’s just getting started. Watch the video now!
