Stream Lauv Ft Julia Michaels Theres No Way – Lauv and Julia Michaels seemingly don’t have any romantic history with each other, but their latest release hints that they’ve each been through some complicated relationships.

The two singer-songwriters teamed up for a new track titled “There’s No Way,” a call-and-response tale of romantic feelings that are impossible to ignore. “You touch me and it’s almost like we knew, that there would be history between us two,” Lauv sings on the opening line, which sets the tone for the rest of the flirtatious love song.

“There’s no way that it’s not going there/ Every second with you I want another,” the pair sing together on the chorus. But while the song’s story initially sounds like it’s headed toward a relationship, Michaels establishes the trouble of the romantic tension: “‘Cause when I got somebody, you don’t/ And when you got somebody, I don’t.”

The video is just as bittersweet as the lyrics of “There’s No Way,” starring Michaels and Lauv and bringing the tale to life.
