Los Angeles-based rapper Kyll Loves has been gearing up for quite awhile to drop his first full length project, and it is officially here: Kyll Szn 2 marks the start of something special for Kyll Loves, a man with a lot on his mind and the bravado to get it all off his chest.
While influenced by his own success and the success of his peers alike, Kyll digs deeper than your average artist when it comes to what his songs truly convey.
“Music is used as a tool to translate and transmute real life experiences and situations,’’ Kyll Loves said. “It’s a healthy way to talk about the things you’ve been through.”
More importantly, it’s a surefire way for the MC to feel purposeful and remain himself with no stress.
“When you want to make a statement you probably wouldn’t make in person because of the lack of social tools, the microphone just sits there and listens and doesn’t judge,” he said.
As for Kyll Szn 2 itself, the 12-song album centers around Kyll’s recent life experiences as well as his ambitions to get his message out to the masses.
“I’m glad I was able to make it fun, easy to listen to and not too complicated,” he said. “Safe to say I was inspired to release because I want to share my art with the world on a global scale. I feel like this is the first step.”
And it’s the first of many steps, by the sound of it. On the list of future plans for Kyll Loves include a possible deluxe edition of the recent project, plus he’s planning on brand new everything; from music, merch and videos to performances, businesses and collaborations, Kyll has got it on his radar.
Overall, it’s safe to say that someone with this much ambition and dedication won’t stay quiet for long.
