Born and raised out of Tampa, Florida, Caleb Elijah Soto (professionally known as “King$oto”) always had a nack for music. Growing up, Caleb was set on playing football professionally, but in his Freshman year of high school after meeting longtime friend and producer Jayden Loyd (professionally known as “XES”) Soto decided to give music a chance. In December 2019 the two recorded Soto’s first song “LOVE” in a storage closet in Jayden’s garage.
After that day, Soto decided to take music more seriously as he had fallen in love with the music making process. Little did the duo know, in just a few years they would impact the music industry in ways they could only dream. Today King$oto and his music sit at 50 million all time streams after only starting his journey 3 years ago. Now, fans are eagerly anticipating a string of releases under Soto’s self proclaimed “New Era” which will feature numerous songs that stand apart from his melodic style and offer a new sound which (other than short snippets) has yet to be heard.
When asked how the fame has affected his life this was his response. “I mean to be honest I don’t even feel famous, when I first saw my numbers rise tremendously and started to realize that my dream was becoming reality I got a little ahead of myself, started to become something and someone I wasn’t. Thanks to a few friends, I was able to realize I was changing into someone I’ve never wanted to be and I changed that right then and there.
Now I’m just kinda enjoying life. I’m in the studio as much as possible and me and Jayden are always discussing more options on how to not only blow up but to impact the world. We already know that we’re blowing up and that much just takes time. We try and focus more on what we will do after the fame comes.”
