Hailing from the Bay Area and shaped by his formative years in Nebraska, KINGD!VOSTRUT, the self-styled “King of the Runway,” brings a regal intensity to his craft. A U.S. Army veteran who served 13 years, including a deployment to Afghanistan, he channels discipline and grit into his music. His journey began in 2010 with the mixtape Jac’Rippa, followed by a string of collaborations and a prolific run of EPs from 2020 to 2022, starting with And Than There Was Divo.
Signing with Sizzle Recording Studio in 2023 under the mentorship of musical visionary George Taylor, KINGD!VOSTRUT has sharpened his pen and amplified his voice. Drawing inspiration from icons like Lil’ Kim, Big Freedia, Nicki Minaj, Juvenile, Nas, TLC, and Tina Turner, he blends bold lyricism with soulful depth, staking his claim as a force in rap and R&B.
