Baltimore Maryland, Santa Barbara-based hip-hop, rap gem Kilo Tae’s latest EP album “Lone Wolf” got released on 20th September under his all-time label partner Kilo Gang Ent. But, when you are working on your passion you will never fill tired and that is the spirit that pays off Kilo Tae. Kilo Tae was always into music and took his first recording when he was 15. But before the Covid-19 pandemic, he wasn’t serious about engaging as a musician. During the pandemic, the artist settled in his garage and experimented with different sounds and musical components that finally earned him the success of upcoming hip-hop talent.
As an artist, Kilo Tae believes in creating greatness, hoping to unlock that next level, and being able to try diverse sounds. He believes in the freedom to express himself by exploring different sides of music.“No Games, No Gimmicks” starts with a catchy guitar melody that will definitely hook you up if you like instrumental compositions. Apart from the intro, throughout the song, the background melody is very rich and you can’t go without noticing its beauty. When the percussive arrangements start along with the delivery of Kilo Tae it takes the song on a different lair. After getting the news of the song’s music video release listening to the track only builds more curiosity.
Kilo Tae describes his music as being innovative, fun, and motivating all at the same time while stating the truth. When he was younger, Gucci Mane was someone he looked up to. However, Lil Wayne was the main source of his musical influence. His rhymes undoubtedly convey inspiration, as well as the originality of his point of view. Talking about influences, Kilo Tae’s true inspiration comes from his mentor and supporting group who always push him one step further to believe in himself. He wants to win awards, not anything specific but becomes the winner in the music industry. He wants to leave something behind that can carry into the future & impact others to do whatever they love.
