The authentic essence of perreo from legendary Puerto Rican duo Jowell & Randy returns in their album “ Mazorkeo.com ” with the hit-making formula that they’re known for. They’re celebrating 24 years of their music career with this album that remains faithful to their roots in reggaeton with songs to keep the party going. This piece also features masterful musical production by TAINY.
Their authentic musicality is recaptured in “Los más looses” and the 12 songs that are made for dancing and celebrating. The lyrics of “Mazorkeo.com”, aimed at an adult audience, are about their admiration for women with expressions filled with sensuality, celebrating flirtation, and empowering them.
The single “Sin Panty María” features Latin urban artist Myke Towers. The lyrics are inspired by the attraction towards a charming woman and the fascination of experiencing special moments with her. The story behind the music video, which was filmed in Miami, continues from the single “X-100,” which was released back in October as a preview of the album.
“The Bathroom”, “European Perreo”, “Burial”, “Karma”, “Partners”, “A Bellako Party”, “Las Fulanas”, “Chocolatito”, “De La High School” and “+ Maíz” round out this entertaining musical journey, which continues to establish Jowell & Randy as the undisputed leaders of perreo.
“We are very happy to bring you these songs so that you can continue to understand that Jowell & Randy are the hardest artists when it comes to perreo,” said Jowell.
“We’re putting our all again into making perreo, with music for jangueo, pure bailoteo,” Randy mentioned.
The album “Mazorkeo.com” comes after the launch of their successful previous album “Viva La Musik”, which was released in June and stood out for its powerful narrative. Their high-level musical journey reflects the artistic evolution of the duo, with their talent for consistently adapting to all the different trends.
The iconic duo’s success story in 2024 continues with their concerts on December 12, 13, 14, 15, 20 and 21 at the emblematic José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum of Puerto Rico. Under the production of Move Concerts and Noah Assad Presents, the performers are preparing to put on a memorable show and once again impress their fans with their authentic presence on stage, with first-class staging and great investments in advanced three-dimensional technology (3D).
Their recent achievements include their first Latin Grammy nomination at the 25th edition of the awards this year in the “Best Reggaeton Performance” category. In addition, they joined the list of finalists at the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards in the category “Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.”
