“I guess it all started when I was growing up going to the studio with Quik and Dave,” says Jasuan. “Just being around that environment and their influence gave me the push that I needed to write and create art as an artist.”
Jasuan’s sonic palette is a fusion of influences ranging from Lil Wayne and Drake to Kanye West and Travis Scott. Seamlessly blending hip-hop with melodic hooks and infectious rhythms, Jasuan’s sound defies conventional labels, carving out a distinct niche in the music landscape.
“Honestly, I don’t think I’d be able to describe my sound as an artist,” Jasuan explains. “I do know I am heavily influenced by many artists. I’ve always loved hip hop ever since Wayne dropped ‘No Ceilings’. He’s my all-time goat when it comes to hip hop.”
Amidst the highs of performing on stage and feeling the pulse of the crowd, Jasuan finds fuel for his creative fire. His ultimate aim is to keep evolving as an artist and crafting music that resonates with authenticity and positivity.
“My goals for the music are to keep pushing it and create until I believe that I’m done,” says Jasuan. “I just like making feel-good music on my terms and no one else’s.”
