J Kosmos is back with the release of his vivid debut EP, ‘Lost Hours’. Following a string of teaser singles earlier in the year, ‘Feeling Like’, ‘Sixth Sense’ and ‘The Process’, the artist looks to continue his creative momentum. Looking to put his stamp on the UK hip-hop game, Kosmos looks to cement himself as a rising underground talent.
Consisting of seven tracks, ‘Lost Hours’ stretches across a vast creative palette. Pushing on with its hip-hop roots, the project leans into the distinctive richness of UK Rap whilst nodding its hat to R&B and trap to give it a sleek finesse. Coupling together dynamic flows and captivating samples, the project comes together as more than the sum of its parts, exploring the highs and lows of modern life.
Speaking about the creative process behind the project, the artist shares, “The entire project was produced and written within a ten-day period. Comprised of seven tracks, this project is a cohesive body of work that was made to stand the test of time. The project delves into profound issues and reflects on the current state of the world. A trailer was released to promote this project during the pre-release campaign. It’s a movie!”
Hailing from the UK, J. Kosmos is an artist looking to make an emphatic stamp on the UK hip-hop game. Since releasing his debut single, ‘Foundation’ back in 2018, Kosmos has moved from strength to strength, racking up thousands of streams in the process.
