Cam Will is bringing the heat this summer, and he’s also bringing the vibes. The independent artist recently released his new project ‘Separation Summer,’ a 7-track effort that displays Cam’s efforts as a talented up-and-coming singer/artist. The project itself is filled with versatile tracks that continuously show off his creativity, with “All Day” (prod. by Bizness Boi) being the standout track of the project. Overall, Separation Summer is a sonically pleasing effort that audiences can vibe to all summer long.
In the accompanying visual for leading single “All Day,” audiences are taken along on a day full of fun with Cam Will and his girl as they take off in his all white Jeep to go hit the go-kart track as he sings “We be in the streets all day tryna buss it down, nobody but us top is 2 that shit is settled now, swear you was my dawg more than these dawgs I got around,” expressing just how strongly he feels about a particular love interest.
The fun doesn’t stop there — as they link up with their friends for a fun time at the beach and as day turns to night, they go from beach to bonfire and then the bowling alley dancing and laughing throughout, making for a great and memorable day.
As far as who Cam Will is as an artist, he has a diverse background that definitely influences his sound and music. He was born and raised in Milwaukee, Minnesota but was fortunate enough to hang around and experience a variety of different cultures contributing to his “forever developing” sound.
“There’s too many ideas and flows and vocal executions in my head for me to tie myself down to one sound,” Cam Will said in a recent interview. “I would say right now I just make whatever I feel if that’s Rap, R&B, or even a blend to where you can’t tell which it really is.”
He describes “All Day,” the single released from his newest project Separation Summer, as being the mindset he plans to be in for a long time. “I’m here to compete and have fun while doing it,” he shared. Wanting to “finally get his feet wet” with music and “go all in.” The project also features stand out track “Bad Influence,” which currently has 80,000 views on Cam Will’s YouTube.
