Ice Cxld has been making waves in the music industry this year. Since the release of his Album “Behind Closed Doors” back in 2020 he has been building a catalog to truly take over the Hip-Hop world. Initially from Richmond, VA he now represents Greensboro, NC. His new track that came out last month titled “Freestyle” is just a taste of what’s to come for this young super star. His new music video out now on YouTube “336-ICE-CXLD” is just a sneak peak into the talent of this North Carolina based artist. Pulling inspiration from legendary rap artists like Lil Wayne and Jay-Z , he has been able to develop his own sound, and is honing is craft.
With depth and true lyrical ability Ice Cxld is an artist on the rise. He speaks to everybody through his music. Although you can hear the heavy street influence, he has found a way to merge that to tell compelling stories in his songs, with tangible lessons through the trials and tribulations of his life he is an inspiring artist to watch. Growing up playing many instruments Ice Cxld is very musically talented, and you can hear that in his flows. Knowing how to play instruments like saxophone and drums he took a step back from the instrumental side of music to focus on his rhymes, this has stated to pay off for him as he has built a very engaged fan base. I sense that this is only the start for Ice Cxld as he has many unreleased songs, and gets better with each and every release.
