Things are moving at mashing speed for Eliyiah. Through competitors at HipHopSince1987 we were tipped off about this newcomer.
Judging by the growth of his socials and streams after releasing just 3 singles, this makes an interesting artist for us to write about from 24hip-hop.com as well. Of course we can’t stay behind!
Eliyiah’s music sounds promising and his sound has been worked on as a hobby since 2014 from his attic. His inspirations would be Juice WRLD and The Kid Laroi (which can be heard by the way), as well as artists of a completely different caliber such as Lewis Capaldi and Harry Styles. Pretty unique combination if you ask me.
Dutchman Eliyiah, who turns 25 in October this year, told one magazine about his crazy yet creative songwriting workflow. This makes him, even though he can’t be working full-time with music yet, very productive, resulting in new singles.
“It feels quite strange to be thrown in the deep end after having been in the shadows after a few releases and to directly appeal to an international audience with this”, on the other hand ”maybe it just had to be that way”, says Eliyiah.
During the first week of his new releases alone, Eliyiah’s music was played in over 25+ countries according to the Spotify Charts. This number is only expected to increase as Eliyiah works on new music, including EPs and albums featuring various collaborations.
