GIOMANI was born on July 17, 1998, in Tbilisi, Georgia. GIOMANI was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, and stands at 6′ 1″ tall and weighs 180 pounds. GIOMANI’s father introduced him to a diverse range of artists as a child, including The Beatles, Gipsy Kings, Barry White, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Fredy Mercury, and B.B. King.
GIOMANI and his family moved to Los Angeles during a war between Russia and Georgia. In GIOMANI’s youth, his mother was a successful multi-business owner, and his father was a deputy minister of agriculture in Georgia. Because of Georgia’s government’s corruption, GIOMANI’s family’s assets were lost at the time.
GIOMANI graduated from El Camino Real Charter High School and went to Santa Monica College for a year before dropping out to pursue his musical passion. At the time, he was in a duo called “TresDeka” with his friend Ralph Tresvant Jr., and they collaborated on various pieces of music. GIOMANI and Ralph Tresvant Jr remained a duo until 2017, when they both decided it was time to branch out as solo artists. He decided on the name GIOMANI.
GIOMANI’s grandfather was Hamlet Gonashvili (who many consider to be the Voice of Georgia), and he intends to carry on his grandfather’s legacy by becoming Georgia’s new voice for this generation.
A silky-voiced pop star in the making with a gift for radio-ready hooks, GIOMANI is on track to become the first superstar from the nation of Georgia. Having spent half of his life in Europe and half in his current home of Los Angeles, GIOMANI has the global perspective and universal touch needed to reach the hearts of pop fans around the world. Since releasing his first singles in early 2020, he has been steadily gaining momentum, collaborating with some of the top talent in LA, and establishing himself as an impossible to ignore voice. GIOMANI’s story is only beginning, and there is no telling how far his gifts will take him.
