Former NBA YoungBoy Producer Dubba-AA Uplifts In ‘All I Need’ Video

It’s no mistake that Florida native Dubba-AA is likely a name that Southern rap fans have heard of within the last decade.

Having masterfully crafted hits for rap superstars such as NBA Youngboy and Kodak Black, Dubba-AA has become the go-to hitmaker for countless artists — and has evolved into a 15-time RIAA Platinum-certified record producer in the process.

Now, Dubba-AA is focused on carefully carving out his lane as a solo artist, and has joined forces with indie label icons+giants, in partnership with ADA Worldwide, Warner Music Group’s independent label and artist services arm.

Blending traditional sounds of gospel music with his trademark hit-making formula, Dubba-AA is manifesting the biblical strength needed to take the music industry by storm with his “All I Need” visual single.

In an Instagram post on Friday (February 25), Dubba-AA revealed how his humble beginnings in the tender and loving Church community of West Palm Beach influenced the release and represents his journey from the trenches to the top of the charts.

“We grew up in the church, then we got older gettin active in the streets bc we needed money, cars, and kicks,” he wrote in part. “This first record ain’t so much only about God. Then it is about the thing/things that makes your soul tick. A big thank you to the real fans the ones that are here right now, before the Grammys, before Platinum Plaques, or #1s on Billboard. All I Need Out on all Platforms #AStormIsComing.”

In the Trill Phil-directed video for “All I Need,” Dubba-AA further channels the spirit of the Holy Ghost as he belts his rap-sung bars while seeking refuge in the pews of Hurst Chapel in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Dubba-AA explained how his intentions behind writing “All I Need” were rooted in his desire to force his listeners to take a moment to be introspective in an exclusive statement to Kazi Magazine.

“When I wrote ‘All I Need,’ it was intended for the listener to tap in with who they really are,” he said. “Whatever it is you need in your life, listening to this song will bring it out of you.”

While “All I Need” marks Dubba-AA’s first release of 2022, he’s been in his artist-producer bag for years, starting in 2018 with his debut “Raccades” single.

Dubba-AA fully jumped into the waters as an artist with his 2019 The Flex Tape mixtape series, which his home to his Latto-assisted “Can’t Be Mine” banger.

Last November, Dubba-AA also joined forces with veteran rapper Bow Wow for their “Hold You Down” collaborative single which samples the Beware Of The Dog lyricist’s 2005 hit “Let Me Hold You” featuring Omarion.

Dubba-AA has also begun to transcend his career in the music industry by stepping into the role of an executive producer for VH1’s hit television show Signed, which follows three music moguls, Lenny S, Rick Ross and The-Dream, as they develop unsigned Hip Hop and R&B artist in the city of Atlanta.
