Fast-rising Duo Nikk-the-Seer X Zet-soo Connect for New Album 'Atlas Infinitum'

South FL Native Artist/Producer NikkthéSeer links up with Hawaii Born/Raised Lo-fi/Trap Artist/Producer, ZXTZV, to conjur their Debut Experimental Hip-hop LP known as, “Atlas Infinitum”.

What started as just a friendship between the duo, after NikkthéSeer moved out to the small island of Kaua’i in early 2018, slowly became something more than they thought would exist. Over the course of 3 years, they combined their love for sub-genre’s of which their style’s seemed to reside in such as, Lo-Fi Trap/Ambient Hip-hop/Alternative Indie/Punk Rock.

After meeting and realizing potentials at play, they began to see what melodies would surface from their “life-changing” experiences in Koke’e State Park located on the west side of Kaua’i. In their words, “it just feels surreal to the max, nothing can beat the feeling of being there, it’s the closest you can get to a lucid dream for us. It’s one of those… you have to go there type of things, in all seriousness.”

Only a 2 Single’s were dropped before their long awaited, borderline overhyped, 13 track debut album was released on most major streaming platforms on the 21st of Novmeber, 2021. With tracks that were finished in mid 2019 such as, “HallowedBeThySea“, “2cabb“, and “LookingOverTheEdge“, the two creatives decided they would sum up the journey with tracks that were made also in the last 6 months before the release date. The Hyper-pop/Emo-rap influenced, ZXTZV executive produced track, “SEMT3X” has caught some of the most attention to date alongside a more uplifting, indie-rap track from the same album known as, “How’dyouknow?”.

If you haven’t heard of these guys, it’s probably not surprising considering their approach of laying low on social media, until now. According to NikkthéSeer, they believe their music comes to the listener when its supposed to. He’s quoted saying, on his executive written track, “LetYourMindRun”— “We’re done planning out release dates”.

He relates this to how inspiration comes in waves, but more rarely comes to those who wait for it, rather than acting on your passion more so every chance you get because—it should mean that much to you anyway.

Atlas Infinitum“, as a whole touches on the duo’s separate trials of growing up, as well as together in such different environments, the state of the world and adjacent corruption that seems to not be spoken about enough.

NikkthéSeer had this to say to our team: —“It’s basically a luminous, swampy, psychedelic rowboat ride of emotions through some dark places we got to mentally and didn’t want to bury inside us, so we put a melodies to them. Our initial idea for this wasn’t to make something for others enjoyment so much but, more of a diary and outlet to vent. You know—only towards the end of this thing did we really notice our small opportunity to spread awareness about like what some people our age go through and tend not to speak on. I think it will age better than when people hear it the first time. I almost wish we had vinyls pressed ’cause its gonna hit just a little harder in coming years, like after our newer stuff is out & lyrics are relatable to the age of the record.

They hope to get more interview style content out and public for their real fans to really see them for who they are and not just how the music they create perceives them. (as this happens so often in the music world) For now, theres enough ZXTZV & NikkthéSeer for you to listen to for at least an hour straight if you so choose, as they say “their’s something here for everyone”.
