Exclusive Interview with 804 Wavy: An Upcoming Artist Making a Name in the Music Scene

Meet 804 Wavy, an up and coming artist hailing from Richmond, VA. With a unique sound blending elements of trap and hiphop, 804 Wavy is making waves in the music scene and turning heads with his captivating performances. We sat down with the rising star to learn more about his journey as an artist and what he has in store for the future.

1.) Q: What is your name and what city do you rep?

My name is 804 Wavy and I rep Richmond VA

2.) Q: What’s your most memorable moment of last year (2022)?

My most memorable moment last year musically would probably be having one of my older songs played on No Jumper and seeing everyone on their set vibing with my music. That was the moment I knew I had something and I could really take things to a new level if I wanted to.

3.) Q: What’s the meaning behind your latest track and its title?

My Newest Song is called “No Problems” the meaning behind it is pretty self explanatory haha. People don’t want any problems with me this year and I stand on that.

4.) Q: Any upcoming projects?

That you can speak on… I’ve got a new Album called Public Enemy coming out soon. It should hopefully be out by March-April this year but I’m taking my time to make sure it’s perfect. The production goes crazy on it and I want to try alot of different things on this album so I’m excited for when it comes out.

5.) Q: What goals would you like to accomplish this year?

My biggest goals are really just to drop more consistently this year. If I could drop 2-3 projects and a ton of music videos I’d be very happy with that. Music is all about having a plan set in place and marketing yourself the right way is everything and now that I feel like I’ve finally figured that out behind the scenes I’m ready to really go up with this music shit.

6.) Q: If you could collaborate with any artist, who would that be?

I’d say Lil Uzi Vert, his style has inspired so many people and his music was a big influence on when I started rapping. He’s always setting new trends too and he all around seems like someone who would be dope to work with one day.

7.) Q: At the end of the day, all artists have something that drives them. What’s your daily motivation?

My daily motivation as cliche as it sounds is just my passion for music. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do since growing up as a kid and I can’t see myself without music in my life. I’ve been lucky enough to come from a very bad situation and really start making money and now that I’ve got that right it’s time to start pursuing dreams even harder.

8.) Q: When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

It really didn’t come until later this past year tbh, just having that moment where it all came together and I realized “I can really do this”. All I really needed was a plan and now that I’ve got that set out I’m ready to really go up this year.

9:) Any last words for the readers?
