ShaunSolo, although Ive lived in Austin for a while I’ll always rep Killeen as well cause that’s where I’m from originally. But its big Texas on mine!
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
When it comes to my latest releases, I honestly felt like I had nothing more to lose but time, & since my current music cohabitated with the same agenda I just felt it fit. I was & am vulnerable at this moment so why not give you the vulnerability, my true emotions into this new album “Bipolar”
What is unique about you and your music?
What’s unique about me & my music is I only put out what I’m doing, going Thru, or relate to. While theres a lot that know how to ride certain waves it’s a selected few that know how to embody their own pain thru lyricism and artistry & I reside on that list. (Reality Artist)
What shaped your music?
Life Experience shaped my music, past, present, etc. I went endured so much pain that I just poured it all into my music for others to relate & feel my reality.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
When I realized I was willing to give my last breathe to make sure my music reached the world. As well as it being the only thing I’m really good at. I’m not an athlete, scholar, or killer. But I am a talented lyricist, and I am genuinely proud of it.
What type of music do you listen to?
I honestly listen to a lot of 90s r&b and older music you can cruise to. I don’t really like a lot of the new age rap.
What inspires you to write music?
What inspires me to write music could be anywhere from a catch phrase I can dissect or the right beat that can bring an instant inspiration to what I’ve been feeling.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
When I’m not doing anything music related I’m either cooking, thinking about life, or just conversing with my immediate relatives. But I’m very passionate about making a good meal, it’s something about watching your loved ones enjoying a good meal courtesy of my chef skills.

knowing I didn’t compromise my integrity while not having to worry about being a disappointment on any aspect.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
I wish I was told talent means nothing. It’s all about your hustle, ambition, & business sense in this industry.
