My name is BOZEA and I’m repping Cleveland, Ohio.
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
My newest release is “UH HUH-YEA YEA”. I wanted to give the streets and clubs an anthem while at the same time telling them to laugh at the haters. I dropped “Lucky Guy” back in April because I wanted to dedicate something to the ride or die ladies who stay in a real man’s corner.
What is unique about you and your music?
I consider my music a grimy street lyrical style with an original flow.
What shaped your music?
My environment definitely shaped my music. Growing up on E. 105th street in Cleveland, Ohio, I was surrounded by and involved in alot of street activities.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
In 2014, after years of just rapping, I was ready for the world to hear my craft and started taking it seriously.
What type of music do you listen to?
I listen to mostly rap but can enjoy any genre of music that sounds good with strong lyrical content.
What inspires you to write music?
Seeing how the rap game has evolved inspires me to keep writing and pushing my brand.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
When not making music, I’m spending time with family and studying ways to invest money.

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
I wish I was told about marketing and promotion when i first started making music because they’re the most important.

I have some upcoming street and club anthems releasing this fall, along with a raw story teller.
