Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
Carolina to Michigan is a tape that blends both Midwest and down south talent.. I fell in love with the beats out there and it kinda just came together.
What is unique about you and your music?
I’ve been told I have a 90s type of feel and that gives me originality.. I also don’t use the typical sound you here from most new artists
What shaped your music?
Accepting all criticism good or bad and just sticking with it.. just really wanting to get better and prove myself
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
2018 is start of me taking everything serious as far as the music. After seeing the success of Dababy and stunna 4 Vegas it kinda pumped me up. It’s hard coming out of NC
What type of music do you listen to?
A little bit of everything.. west coast Artists mostly down south and I like the Midwest to..
What inspires you to write music?
The fact that the next thing I write could take me to the top is what inspires me.. getting feedback and engagements with fans is real cool to me
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
I got 3 kids so when I’m not making music I try my best to do right by them and give them the best.. they are all under 5 years old so it’s a journey lmao
Happiness to you is…
Happiness to me is bills and expenses paid for solely off music.. not having to work just keep putting out bangers to make money.. my family being took care of.. all the simple stuff
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
More marketing.. put more behind that one item instead of dropping in bulk.. now that I have more of a catalog I can promote a few songs I think were overlooked..
Tell us about your upcoming projects…
My newest tape “The To Go BoX” will include 12 songs.. a combination of North Carolina Michigan and Memphis sound.. Durhams own dj gxxdmusic will also be hosting this latest addition.. you can also expect some A1 features as well.. stay tuned to find out
Where do we find you music / music projects?
My music is on every major streaming platforms as well as spinrilla and YouTube.. also will be available on Snapchat Facebook and etc when people want to use it in there stories.
