Tell us about your latest release:

Flying close to the sun Da Foundation continue to heat up with one of the coldest albums of their already impressive catalogs. Sabbat Noir dynamic as it get, Da Foundation have reached another level a class of there own.

Who inspired you to make music?

Being inspired by the MC’s before them to the likes of Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Max B just to name a few. Da Foundation strived to carve out a lane of their own due to there unique sound and choice of production. Dreez of Global Sound and Manny Beats Chi along with V Tomic provide all the production that seem to be the perfect fit for the Alleyway2Broadway duo to express their creative vision to in full capacity.

What is your creative process like?

Talking to the group after being allowed to actually asked some questions I immediately dive into the creative process which was strenuous with the group certain information they choose not to disclose. However I noticed a lot of the time most of the work is done before studio sessions and once in the studio they are just laying track consecutively, in a very impressive in one take. So far the creative process is something I can only assume takes place at home in which I have not yet gain the trusted access.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

This also fits right into the collaboration process and how they choose to work with another artist. Da Foundation have captured the interest of fans in the latest releases like Metal Jacket with Young LA, Lights in the Sky with NJ Press and Jay P. This is exciting because the group is finally starting to open up to sharing the treasure. Now we don’t want to assume however, the group did post to Social Media a picture with themselves and Jay Jones of Young Money. Now what can this possibly mean. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

Needless to say we do know that the group recently shared the stage in Raleigh with Lil Wayne maybe this has birth the collaboration. Nevertheless Da Foundation have hit the stage with 2 Chains, T.I, being brought out by Bone Thugs N Harmony, hitting the stage with Do or Die, just to name a few. The group continue to show up and perform on stages with the juggernauts of the rap game.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

Nearing the end of my time with the group I got to ask just a few more things like Fan messages and advice and also what’s next and Da Foundation simply replied “ To our Fans we appreciate you and stay lock in we have good things coming”
