Drake Signs $10 Million Las Vegas Residency Deal

Drake is setting up shop in Las Vegas.

The rapper has reportedly signed on for a multi-year residency at XS Nightclub at the Wynn resort and casino. According to The Blast, the deal is worth more than $10 million and carries a minimum 10-show commitment.

Just last week, Drake performed at XS during the Consumers Electronics Show and hinted at the longterm deal. “I’ll be back here at XS all year,” he told the crowd. “You’ll have a lot of chances to see me.”

Drake was apparently being courted by many clubs in Las Vegas, but he chose XS due to its high exposure and ability to consistently draw the largest crowds.

It’s become a growing trend for Vegas hotels to secure A-list talent including Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga, who recently launched her “Enigma” residency at the Park Theater at Park MGM.

An official announcement is expected soon. On Saturday (Jan. 12), Drake posted an Instagram photo of himself performing at XS with the caption: “New home.”
