Mar 16, 2021, 03:10am EST — Drake ‘Scary Hours 2’ first week sales revealed by Rolling Stone and Billboard charts, as the Boy readies Certified Lover Boy. After releasing his surprise project last Friday, Billboard has announced some major information. Drake has become the first artist ever, to debut three songs in the top three simultaneously.
This is for the Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart and Billboard Hot 100, something no one has done. Considering the effort was only a three-track EP, he generated over 108 million streams between his three songs.
His most popular track of the three, “What’s Next,” which took shots at Kanye West, is the first to receive a visual. With rumors emerging last week of a collaborative project back in the works with Rick Ross, we’re assuming he’s completing multiple projects before the pandemic ends. There, an official worldwide tour is expecting to take place, which we’re wondering who will be joining him on the road.
The project serves as a warm-up to Drake’s sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy, which is still awaiting a release date. “CLB is currently being cheffed in every way possible,” Drake said on his new SiriusXM station SOUND 42. “I’m just really excited about the music that we’re making and I feel like I’ve locked into a zone where I’m really trying to execute on a project that’s fulfilling for my soul.”
