Domo Muziq From Queens, New York, Dropped The Song of the Summer

Domo Muziq

From Queens, New York, Dominique Clarke is known as Domo Muziq. He started playing music at the age of 2 years old. When he was at daycare, he would grab different objects around the room to make different sounds. He was loved by the teachers, and they would record him making music. Music is in his blood, and he has been fortunate to have a family who are also musically inclined.

Since he was 16 years old, Domo Muziq has been playing the drums whenever possible. Eventually, he wrote a song and entered Apollo, where he placed second. As a result, he has pursued a new direction in music. His first single ‘Touch’ was released in 2018 and has expanded since then. His music reflects his passion, his experience, and his love, as Domo Muziq hopes his listeners can hear it in his music. It is important to him that people can relate to him and enjoy his music. It doesn’t matter what the listener is looking for; he will provide it.

Domo Muziq takes inspiration from many people, including Jamie Foxx, Fred Hammond, Tank, John Legend, Jazmin Sullivan, Whitney Houston, and Ray Charles. Each of these artists produces songs with meaning and longevity, which is the goal every artist strives for. He’s been hard at work recently with the release of his summer-ready song ‘Do You Need A Drink.’ It has a lighthearted mood about getting a pretty girl a drink and connecting with her over the summer. In addition, he is working on an EP that will be a summer mix for all the fun activities his fans have planned this summer. To keep up to date with Domo Muziq, follow him on Instagram.
