Today (March 5) DJ Khaled took to social media to announce his 11th studio album Father of Asahd to be released on May 2019. he made the announcement by sharing a series of clips of him speaking to Epic Records executives in a meeting.

“I wanna unload all of it,” he said. “I’ma be like anyone act up, I let it all go. I wanna fuck the game up.

He called the project “his best album to date” promising that it will feature nothing but hits. “I’m a guy that only wants to make hits,” he said. “When I roll this album out, I’ma let people know, ‘It’s time to get hits again, ’cause y’all been over saturated with so much music that y’all forgot what hits are.’”

Sylvia Rhone also agreed with him. “Every single track..It’s the best album you’ve ever made,” she said.

The project is named after his two-year-old son “Asahd”, Father of Asahd follows 2017’s Grateful, and is presumed to feature appearance from Travis Scott, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Post Malone, and more.

Khaled also shared photos and video from the set at Golden Oak Ranch in Santa Clarita, Calif when he went on an “epic music movie” for an unnamed track off the project with Cardi B.
