Early Roots
Music entered Ian’s life early through his father, a longtime radio DJ whose influence filled the house with rhythm and discovery. A Long Pause
For more than 25 years, Ian stepped away from his passion. As a single father raising two children while also supporting a third, his time and resources were tightly focused on family. Music had to wait.
But the calling didn’t disappear. It simply remained patient.

Two years ago, after decades of responsibilities and obstacles, DJ E-TERNAL stepped back into the industry — and immediately began making up for lost time.

Health Battles
Today, DJ E-TERNAL is navigating serious health challenges, including stage 2 heart failure and stage 2 kidney disease. These diagnoses have made each day more difficult, but they have also strengthened his drive to create.
Unable to work for the past year and currently waiting on disability, he still refuses to let circumstance silence his voice. He hopes his continued musical output will build lasting income that he can someday pass on to his children.
A Dream That Remains
With time now more valuable than ever, his aspirations are clear. His dream is to perform at EDC Las Vegas or Futureland — milestones many EDM artists spend their entire careers chasing. Beyond achieving the moment for himself, he wants to prove to his children that it is never too late to pursue something meaningful.

Releasing two weeks later, this marks his fifth EDM album.
The opening track, a 15-minute composition, immerses listeners in his signature cinematic sound before moving into seven additional tracks that complete the journey. Its structure is intended to take audiences “into the matrix and back,” offering a full-circle sonic experience.
