DaBaby has released a new seven (7) songs Ep titled My Brother’s Keeper featuring guest appearances from from Meek Mill, Polo G, Toosi and NoCap.
The project is dedicated to his brother Glen Johnson who died by suicide in a parking lot in Charlotte, North Carolina on Nov. 3rd. He left behind three daughters and a son. Prior to his death, he had posted a video of himself with a gun in a vehicle while clearly upset about something and crying, saying he was “wronged” in the past.
DaBaby has mentioned his brother on the into of his last album which made it to number one, “My brother be thinkin’ that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family,” he rapped. “Like I won’t give up all I got to see you happy.” He Rapped.
The new ep, the rapper creates an atmosphere where he can rap freely and express himself expressing his his thoughts and grief. Listen below.
