D-Man The Emerging HipHop Artist

D-Man The Emerging HipHop Artist

We recently had the pleasure of chatting with DeMarcus “D-Man” Jordan, one of the most talented emerging hip-hop artists on the scene today. Born in Chicago, Illinois, and spending much of his life in Cleveland, Ohio, D-Man is Midwest to his core.

D-Man’s musical style tightropes the lines between trap and lyricism, focusing on an in-your-face form of self-improvement and motivation coupled with a healthy serving of braggadocio. His musician lane can be described as one comprising artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Larry June, Curren$y, and others who glorify resource utilization, opportunity spotting, and self-actualization.

D-Man made his break into the Cleveland music scene in January 2020. He has since released two full-length mixtapes, one EP, and a slew of singles including visuals for each single. The release of his EP “More Cloth” was prominently featured on all of MyMixtapez.com’s platforms.

D-Man has released music with multiple artists making major waves in music currently including Taylor Gang’s Fedd the God and Flint, Michigan’s “Cash App” rapper, Louie Ray.

When asked about his creative process, D-Man revealed that he is always writing and recording, so he has a lot of material to work with. When it comes time to release something, he tries to put together a collection of songs that he feels represent where he’s at creatively. He always wants to be pushing himself and trying new things, so each release is a chance for him to do that.

D-Man has been fortunate to work with some really talented artists, like Fedd the God and Louie Ray. It’s always a great experience to collaborate with someone who shares your passion for music and has a unique perspective on things. D-Man has learned a lot from those collaborations and he thinks it’s helped him grow as an artist.

As for what’s next for D-Man in terms of new music and projects, he’s always working on new music, so there’s definitely more on the way. He has a lot of ideas for new projects and collaborations, so he’s excited to see where that takes him. D-Man just wants to keep pushing himself and making the best music he can.

To his fans, D-Man just wants to say thank you to everyone who’s been supporting him and listening to his music. He does this for his fans, and he really appreciates all the love and encouragement. To anyone out there who’s trying to pursue their dreams, D-Man just wants to say keep going. It’s not always easy, but if you believe in yourself and keep working hard, anything is possible.
