Hailing from Anambra State, Nigeria, Coded 2times has been carving his path in music since officially starting in 2021. His journey began with simple classroom songs and humming, with friends encouraging him to put his sounds out into the world. What started as playful creativity soon became a full-fledged passion for sharing his voice with a wider audience.
Coded 2times blends Afrobeats, rap, and drill into his music, creating a sound that reflects both his roots and his contemporary influences. As a child, he played the flute and later took up the keyboard in his church, shaping his musicality from an early age. He cites Davido and NBA YoungBoy as his biggest inspirations, blending Afrobeat rhythms with raw emotion and lyrical grit.
Since his debut, he has released about 10 singles and an EP Child of Light which dropped on April 30, 2024, showcasing all Afrobeat tracks. He has also been featured in two other songs and is actively working on new material, including collaborations with female artists just as his fans have been requesting.
The most memorable moments of his career include walking into a store and overhearing his song being played without most people realizing he was the one who made it and being in a nightclub where everyone sang Love and Harmony word for word, almost like performing in a full concert.
Yes, he is working on a single and a couple of other features with many upcoming artists who have been reaching out. He is always excited to work with more people and expand his reach in meaningful ways. While upcoming performances are still in the works, he remains focused on staying consistent and doing his best to keep growing.
