Boston-based retailer Bodega has teamed up with various sneaker brands over the years, including ASICS with their most recent release being the GEL-NYC “After-Hours.” As we enter September this weekend, the duo has announced its latest project together, taking on the new GEL-KAYANO 20 with a “Small Wins Add Up” theme.
Serving as a reminder to appreciate the everyday triumphs that we encounter, this new rendition of the GEL KAYANO 20 has been prepared in a “Silver Green” and “Eucalyptus” color palette. Its mesh base sports an off-white that complements the light brown detailing spread across several of its overlays. From there, a loose-gauge mesh has been applied to the tongue in black while a mustard yellow enters the mix at the lateral heel’s “GEL-KAYANO 20” hit and the laces. A lime green has been applied to the lining while the GEL-backed sole unit features a darker shade of green. Lastly, “BODEGA” text appears just below the aforementioned note at the lateral heel, however, it dons a tonal beige hue instead of a yellow one.
Release for Bodega’s new ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20 “Small Wins Add Up” project begins on September 12 via Bodega at 12pm EDT. Pairs will also be made available via the retailer’s Boston and Los Angeles locations at a starting price of $180 USD.
