Baby Gap Finds a Creative Groove and Drops “Walk In and Slide!”

Earlier this year, Baby Gap found himself stuck in a creative rut after dropping a mixtape. But rather than be impeded by the roadblock, he turned his attention towards production.

“I was at a slow point in creativity so I decided to start making beats and it sparked the creations of ‘Walk In and Slide!’,” Baby Gap said.

Indeed, six of the project’s eight songs are produced by Baby Gap himself, showing that his immense skills extend beyond the microphone. Other producers on the album include Mongo, 448millionaire and Desmon McGhee. On the engineering front, Baby Gap handled most of that himself too, along with Arundel Kramer and Ean Polakov.

On the radar for the Nigeria born, Bakersfield, California raised rapper is creating more music videos for the tracks on “Walk In and Slide!” in addition to heavily promoting it and performing across the country. Not only that, but he’s got more songs on the way, keeping insatiable fans’ appetites full.
