Audio surfaced of Tekashi 6ix9ine being questioned in court on Tuesday (September 17). In the released audio, Tekashi admits to cooperating with investigators the day after he was arrested.
In the leaked clip, Tekashi can be heard telling the court that he’s 23 years old. He also mentions his aliases, including Tekashi and Tekashi69. He says that he agreed to plead guilty to “violent crimes, shootings, and drug distribution” as part of his cooperation with the feds which occurred on Nov. 19, “the day after we was taken down.”
This audio surfaced one day after Meek bashed 6ix9ine for cooperating with federal authorities. Using his Twitter account, he made it known where he stands on 6ix9ine’s testimony.
Tekashi was facing a minimum of 47 years in prison, but he will likely receive a reduced sentence in return for his cooperation. 6ix9ine’s trial is expected to last for the next two weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on the rapper’s federal case.
