Colorado, rising artist Duhryus is Ready to Takeover The Music World By Storm

Duhryus Born (Darius Martinez) from Fort Collins, Colorado. Started recording music back in 2017 when he moved to Albuquerque New Mexico. For 5 years Duhryus has been working on music. Having a discography of over 50 songs, Duhryus has an assortment of flows that could surely meet anyones requirements.

Throughout the years he has put out two mixtapes “Alone Together” featuring notable songs such as (Ruthless) “a track showcasing the start of Duhryus and the fast chopping flow.” & (Remember) “a track about the friendships he had gained that remain to this day the strongest bonds ever to be made in his life.” & “Retribution” featuring tracks such as (Hittin’ Licks) “Featuring Albuquerque’s own Jay Scribe.” & (My Issue) “Speaking on wanting to have a good time yet never having the chance to due to aggressive competition.” as well as his first project “The Saved” which contains a crucial song (Idolize) “The first track released by Duhryus which showcases why he can be different from the artists coming out of the cracks.” Duhryus, much like many kids wanted to experience moments that would be deemed unforgettable, attending parties, indulging in actions that would change his life forever.

He would begin to push away all those he loved and lock himself away in his studio space studio created while living in his apartment. Going to work at 12pm for Walmart then coming home at 10pm he would work on music til he’d have to get ready for work again the next day. During that time Duhryus had made over 200 songs that would be placed on a usb drive. Alongside those tracks, were other important files that would be stolen and lost. & although none of the songs remained.

Duhryus began making more music and was determined more than ever to make sure the songs and data that were lost on the usb would be avenged. By 2020 when the lease was up on the apartment Duhryus would move in with his friend Ethan (Cutthroat) where he began working from home and would start working on the first draft of what is now “Lost & Found.” Originally being named “The Rxcipient” it would feature only one track that made it onto platforms would be a track (Black Out) which featured lines such as “I popped six Xanax, I’m never getting home.” & “wake up it’s the next day plus five more.” It’s plain to see that Duhryus was diving deep into his addiction.

He would finish the entire album featuring 14 songs which would later be scrapped and put into a vault. At that point Duhryus was lost. With a whole album created & no intention on dropping it he was furious. Why would his work remain so unappealing in his eyes? Duhryus would begin abusing pills more at that point. He began working on the album again. This time with the title “Without a Trace.” Duhryus had the mindset that being sober was nothing he wanted to do again. Taking higher doses, he was ingesting 4-6 pills and was blacking out almost endlessly.

He would get 3 songs into the album before scrapping it after the addiction became too much and he would end up blacking out and ruining relationships that he had held dear. After that. Duhryus would go go off the grid when he woke in a driveway surrounded by his belonging and equipment. That’s when the concept “Lost & Found” came into play. Duhryus pulled songs from both “The Rxcipient” and “Without a Trace” and finish the album with 12 songs featuring artists such as Krizz Kaliko, Casey Masters, & YKARE. “Lost & Found” is a story of Duhryus finding his flow and role he has to play in this world, it’s about him finding himself finally and stopping at nothing to make sure it happens.
