Some artists are men of many words, others let their music do the talking for them. The latter is the case with Daphne, Alabama native Man on Mars, who is fresh off the release of “Solitaire,” a fiery single that showcases his aspirations and willingness to stand out from the pack.
“I try to stay in my own lane and do me,” Man on Mars said. “But I do listen to a lot of NoCap, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert and really any rage artist.”
On “Solitaire” itself, Man on Mars is full of bravado and swagger, laying down potent bars over the Lavbwoydev-produced beat.
“I’m at a very good point in my life mentally and I’m very confident in myself because I found my pocket in music and I’m around a good team right now,” he said.
In the plans for Man on Mars — who has since relocated to Birmingham, Alabama — is to continue to promote his recently released EP Space Nebula, a collaborative effort with NoTimeRico that was produced by Lavbwoydev.
If that wasn’t enough, he’s gearing up for the release of his project Martian Wrld, proving that this relentless creator is not going to stop until he reaches the very top.
